We won our stove on e- bay and went to New Jersey to pick it up. Following the advice of others, we took off many of the parts and it really was not as heavy as I was expecting. But it was heavy. We drove home through a white out snow storm in central PA and I think I was more concerned about stove in the back of the van than us!
She is lovely. A few dings (I think someone somewhere used a handtruck to move it and did not put anything between the truck and the stove) and one really bad repair of a chip one of the doors. I think they used the same paint as on the walls of the kitchen!
My husband is cleaning and spraying. I don't know how extensive a clean-up we are going to give her. I am really anxious to start cooking!
The owner received it in September and it had been in use up until then. She took very good care of it.
I am sure I will have many questions but for now, I am just elated to just stare at her!

Congratulations and welcome!! They really are easy on the eye, aren't they? The design is just beautiful. Which model did you bring home, and have you named her yet?
I'm still in the admiring phase, myself, but getting closer to cooking all the time. Don't forget to get the safety system in there before you hook her up.
